Sales Agent - South Eastern USA
Responsibilities:
Ø Represent the Patriot Group of Companies throughout the States throughout the South Eastern USA (Georgia, Florida, Alabama and North and South Carolina) with an initial focus on the Aerospace, Power Gen and Oil & Gas industries.
Ø Maintain positive relationships with existing Patriot Group customers, by strengthening direct communication and increasing customer understanding of Patriot capabilities;
Ø Develop new customers with the goal of expanding Patriot’s market share throughout the area.
Ø Update Management on market trends, competitor information and other market intelligence.
Ø Assist in the creation of Sales Forecasts and other reports as requested.
Ø Act as liaison between the customer and the Management team regarding customer issues;
Ø Conduct customer surveys as required by ISO and ASO quality systems;
Ø Work with Patriot’s Inside Sales team in preparing quotations, understanding lead times, order follow up and relaying market information.
Ø Participate in tradeshows within the territory as required.
Experience/Skills/Education:
Ø University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering is an asset
Ø Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience in specialty steels, nickel base alloys or the custom forging industry.
Ø Successful track record in developing large or key accounts, and/or with technical product development
Ø Strong understanding of metallurgical terms and processes related to special steels, nickel alloys and/or custom forging industry.
Ø High degree of initiative, team focus, dedication, and self-discipline required.
Ø Excellent communication skills
